FAIRBURN, GA - A fatal overturned wreck has a few lanes open on Interstate 85 going southbound near Highway 74, also known as Senoia Road.
GDOT has confirmed there is one fatality in this wreck and traffic is being diverted off at Highway 138, also known as Jonesboro Road.
According to Fairburn Police, the wreck happened shortly after 5 :00 a.m. on Wednesday. Responding officers saw two vehicles involved in a wreck. One vehicle was overturned but both vehicles were off of the roadway.
A 38-year-old male was ejected during the crash and was pronounced dead at Grady Memorial Hospital.
This incident is still being investigated at this time.
